Families in Transition is tremendously grateful to the many volunteers who enable them to fulfill their mission. Corporate groups and school groups play a big role in the organization, helping FIT with larger projects. Students from UNH volunteered at the Adult Emergency Shelter to do a spring clean. Merchants Fleet volunteers gave the outside of some FIT properties a cleanup. Church organizations regularly volunteer at FIT’s Emergency Shelters by serving meals or hosting an activity night for the kids! Corporate organizations also regularly help out at the food pantry.
