At Members First, we appreciate the trust and loyalty of our members. Our Money Forward Rewards Program is a way for us to show our appreciation to members who refer their friends and family.

Now you can earn cash when you refer people to Members First! We have two easy ways to make referrals:

In Person

  1. Use the referral slip you'll receive when you visit a branch or open a paper statement.
  2. Write your name and email address on the front of the slip.
  3. Give it to a friend or family member. They can provide the completed slip to an MFCU employee at one of our branches or enroll at Hello Referrals.


Monitor your rewards and enjoy the benefits of helping your community grow with MFCU! And keep making referrals: there's no limit to how many people you can introduce to Members First.


*Program Requirements

The referred new member must complete all account or loan requirements within 90 days of the referral submission. Referral rewards will be credited to your account within 30 days after the new member meets all criteria. For privacy and security reasons, MFCU cannot communicate account information with non-account owners. Any requests for account research or inquiries must be made directly by the new member.

The direct deposit must represent a good faith approximation of the majority of the person's payroll to qualify for the checking account referral reward. All referrals and accounts are subject to approval and must adhere to MFCU's terms and conditions.

HELOCs will not be included in the Money Forward Program as there is no guarantee that the member will draw funds.

HELOANs will be eligible but they will be included in the $100 Consumer Loan Incentive.

Legal and Compliance

This program is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Rewards may be considered taxable income. Members are responsible for any applicable taxes. MFCU reserves the right to modify suspend, or terminate this program at any time without prior notice.
