Contact Center Supervisor

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for effectively managing the credit union’s contact center, servicing the membership via phone, email, messaging, video, and other technologies, as developed
  • Act as consumer loan officer; proficiently evaluate and decision consumer loan applications in accordance with established policies and procedures; ensure personnel are proficient in originating, closing, and servicing consumer loans
  • Foster a strong and productive sales culture; develop new deposit and loan business
  • Achieve individual & call center sales goals through new business sales, referrals, and retention of account relationships
  • Supervise the selection, training and performance management of Contact Center staff
  • Ensure personnel are well trained in all phases of their respective job; maintain a highly motivated and well-informed staff who demonstrate excellent product knowledge and efficient, friendly member service
  • Ensure Contact Center operations are in accordance with established policies; develop, implement, and follow procedures in compliance with current policies and regulatory requirements; maintain internal controls
  • Regularly meet with staff as a group to inform and train; regularly meet with staff individually to check in on performance and provide appropriate coaching
  • Coordinate with Deposit Services manager regular electronic services training
  • Ensure members are informed of all products and services offered by Members First; foster a team proficient at counseling members regarding their financial needs
  • Proficiently perform all member service functions and fill in where needed; respond to and resolve member inquiries and disputes

Prerequisites

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • 2-3 years of supervisory or Contact Center experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to calculate figures, amounts, interest and percentages

Contact Center Representative

The Contact Center Representative is responsible for handling a variety of member service calls in a professional and timely manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Resolves member questions and problems regarding accounts, orders, payments, products, and services and provides accurate and complete information about credit union products and services
  • Assists members with all electronic services, debit card services, as well as consumer loans and related services
  • Cross-sells products and services and supports all functions within the contact center
  • Ensures compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures within area of responsibility
  • Completes research and resolves documentation errors or discrepancies and forwards more complex problems to contact center supervisor
  • Attends community events on behalf of the credit union
  • Attends all office/departmental training sessions and organizational meetings
  • Assists and fills in at branch office as needed
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

Prerequisites

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Requires experience with Microsoft Office products as well as the ability to use other computer software programs, analyze data and prepare reports
  • Valid driver’s license is required

Mortgage Processor

The Mortgage Processor is responsible for processing real estate and home equity loan applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide effective review and processing for all phases of mortgage loan activities, including the verification of all mortgage closing documents and preparation of home equity closing documents
  • Provide accurate disclosures meeting federal guidelines for timing and content
  • Ensure pipeline is accurate, reflecting current information
  • Provide back up for mortgage and home equity disbursements
  • Prepare daily rate changes

Prerequisites

  • Requires working knowledge of Fannie Mae guidelines and CFPB regulations
  • A high level of organization is required, as well as the ability to use Microsoft Office programs and various software systems
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to analyze data and prepare reports, calculate figures and amounts; discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages, area, circumference and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • High School diploma or GED and two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Centralized Lending Specialist

The Centralized Lending Specialist is responsible for receiving, reviewing and approving consumer loan applications within structured limits.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Define the different types of loans and credit options available to members along with the corresponding terms of the loan products
  • Analyze member’s financial status and credit evaluations to determine feasibility of granting loans
  • Proficiently evaluate and decision consumer loan applications in accordance with established policies and procedures
  • Obtain and compile applicant’s credit histories, financial statements and other financial information
  • Ensure accuracy and detail in loan underwriting process
  • Review loan agreements to ensure the documents are complete and accurate according to policy and procedures
  • Stay abreast of new loan offerings and other financial services and/or products to meet member needs
  • Work with fellow co-workers and provide support as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Prerequisites

  • Requires experience with Microsoft Office programs as well as, other software programs
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, ability to calculate figures, amounts, interest, discounts percentages
  • Capability to solve problems and deal with a variety of variables in obtaining solutions consistent with guidelines and/or procedures
  • Six to twelve months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid Driver’s License is required

ACH Coordinator

The Automated Clearing House (ACH) Coordinator is responsible for insuring the accurate and timely posting of all electronic debit and credits settled or originated by Members First.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process and balance all aspects of ACH including ACH origination, exceptions, returns, notification of change (NOC), returns, reclamations and death notification entries
  • Establish transfers and allocations as requested by members while upholding the fiduciary responsibility to the Credit Union incumbent in this position as it relates to Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC), Member Identification Program (MIP) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
  • Perform Fannie Mae investor reporting and settlement functions
  • Provide back-up for the bookkeeper position, able to perform daily functions of the bookkeeper

Additional duties may include: reconciling general ledger account and additional duties as assigned.

Requires experience in Microsoft Office products as well as the ability to use other computer software programs, analyze data and prepare reports. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.

Education and/or experience: One year certificate from college or technical school in accounting, or one or more years in a financial institution or and equivalent combination of both.
