Mortgage Loan Originator

We are seeking a self-driven, detail-orientated individual to originate mortgages in the Greater Manchester area.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include originating first mortgage and home equity loan products, pre-qualifying members based on credit profiles and developing relationships with local professionals including: Realtors, Mortgage Brokers, CPAs, Attorneys and other referral networks within our field of membership.

Prerequisites

Two years of mortgage origination experience and FNMA Desk Top Origination experience is required, as well as a strong working knowledge of PC based mortgage platform. NMLS and valid driver’s license is required. This is a commission-based position.

Mortgage Processor

We are seeking a full time Mortgage Processor responsible for processing real estate and home equity loan applications at our headquarters on 44 Bridge Street, Manchester.

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide effective underwriting review and processing for all phases of mortgage loans, including verification of all mortgage closing documents
  • Preparation of home equity closing documents
  • Provide accurate disclosures meeting federal guidelines for timing content
  • Complete home equity closings as needed
  • Prepare HMDA data collection and reporting
  • Ensure accuracy in loan underwriting process
  • Provide backup to loan originators as needed

Prerequisites:

  • Requires working knowledge of Fannie Mae guidelines and CFPB regulations
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and ability to analyze data and prepare reports
  • Ability to use various software systems
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of organization required
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts, discounts, interest, commissions, proportions and percentages, area circumference and volume
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
  • High School diploma or GED and one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
