We’re seeking a customer-focused, dependable Financial Services Associate to join our branch team. In this role, you’ll work directly with members to process financial transactions, answer questions, and provide guidance that supports financial confidence and wellness.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys face-to-face service, takes pride in accuracy and professionalism, and wants to build a career in banking while making a meaningful impact in the Manchester community.
What You'll Do
As a Financial Services Associate, you’ll play a vital role in delivering exceptional service and supporting our people-first approach.
- Process member financial transactions accurately and efficiently on a daily basis
- Respond to member questions and resolve issues in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner
- Assist members with basic budgeting conversations and consumer loan inquiries
- Count, verify, and package coins and currency in accordance with credit union procedures
- Promote and explain credit union products and services that best align with member needs
- Participate in the credit union’s sales culture, community initiatives, and business-related events
- Travel between branch locations as needed to support operational needs
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all member and employee information
- Treat members and coworkers with respect, professionalism, and a positive, team-oriented attitude
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or higher preferred
- Demonstrated accuracy and competence in basic math and cash-handling skills
- Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic office equipment
- Lending experience preferred but not required
- Strong active listening, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and following credit union policies and procedures
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend, twist, squat, and reach as needed
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
