Supporting Local Art and Culture

Arts Build Community (ABC), led by the talented artist James Chase, is an organization dedicated to enriching neighborhoods through the power of art. You might recognize James Chase as the visionary behind the stunning "Greetings from Manchester" mural, a vibrant piece that has become a beloved landmark. ABC "collaboratively builds connected, empowered communities through shared, arts-based experiences led by artists, creators, & culture bearers."

ABC’s efforts are not just about beautifying public spaces; they aim to foster a sense of community pride and engagement. By creating accessible and impactful art, they bring people together, spark conversations, and celebrate the unique cultural tapestry of our community.

A Milestone Gift

In honor of our 75th anniversary, Members First Credit Union is proud to support Arts Build Community with a $1,000 donation. Our CEO, Courtney Fifield, had the privilege of presenting the check to James Chase. This contribution will help provide supplies and travel expenses for artists and muralists, enabling the creation of new murals in Manchester neighborhoods.
