At New Life Home for Women and Children, the journey to recovery doesn’t stop at sobriety. It starts there—and expands into emotional healing, life-building, and personal transformation. This faith-based nonprofit takes a comprehensive approach to helping women and their children not only overcome hardship, but also step into a new life of stability and hope.
Their 15–18-month residential program is more than just a place to stay. It’s a structured, nurturing community where every woman is treated with dignity, supported through each stage of growth, and encouraged to reclaim her future—while parenting her children in a safe, supportive environment.
🏡 What Life Looks Like at New Life Home
Women who enter New Life Home’s residential program receive care that supports the whole person, including:
- Trauma-informed counseling
- Addiction recovery and relapse prevention
- Life skills workshops (budgeting, nutrition, conflict resolution, and more)
- Career coaching and resume building
- Academic tutoring and GED support
- Parenting education and mentoring
All of this takes place in a community setting, where women learn alongside one another, building bonds that often last far beyond graduation.
“They helped me believe in myself again—and taught me how to build a life I didn’t think was possible,” shared one program graduate.

👶 A Place Where Families Heal Together
Unlike many recovery programs, New Life Home welcomes children to live alongside their mothers throughout the program. This approach allows families to:
- Stay together during a difficult time
- Begin healing side by side
- Break generational cycles of trauma and instability
Children benefit from a structured, nurturing environment, often experiencing stability, routine, and encouragement for the first time. Moms are supported in their parenting journey and gain tools to build healthier relationships with their children.
💡 Growth that Lasts
New Life Home is proud to see many of its graduates go on to:
- Secure stable housing
- Maintain employment
- Reunify with children or strengthen family ties
- Become mentors and leaders in their communities
Their whole-person, whole-family model is designed to promote lasting change—not just for women, but for the children and communities around them.
Stay with us this month as we share more about the life-changing stories that emerge from this powerful program—and how you can help support their mission.
