The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester (MHCGM) serves the mental health needs of people living in Manchester and the surrounding communties, treating patients with respect, compassion, and dignity.
Their mission is to empower people in their recovery and their wellness journeys. Their system of mental health care is accessible, comprehensive, integrated, and evidence-based, by providing the right care, at the right time, in the right setting. MHCGM tailors their services to each person's journey toward happiness.
The Mental Health Center of Greater Manchester is unique in their "no barriers" approach to care. They welcome patients of any age and diagnosis, regardless of financial or insurance status. Most of their services are covered by insurance, and for those that are not, they can work with patients to help them get the care they need. MHCGM works with patients with physical impairments, as well as those who speak limited or no English.
MHCGM has a vision to not only promote wellness in individuals, but to also be a partner in mental health treatment throughout the community, with patients in Auburn, Bedford, Candia, Goffstown, Hooksett, Londonderry, Manchester, and New Boston. They have a broad variety of services offered at four locations in Manchester:
- Individual counseling
- Crisis intervention & emergency services
- Suicide prevention services
- Addiction counseling and recovery services
- Mental health awareness programs
We look forward to sharing more about MHCGM throughout the month!
