MPAL - How You Can Get Involved

When people hear about all of the programs the Manchester Police Athletic League offers, one of the first questions they ask is how much it costs for their children to participate. All programs are 100% free, making MPAL a valuable resource for parents and grandparents who cannot afford to send their children to other city youth serving organizations. MPAL also connects youth with police officers and other positive role models. Participants are welcome to start attending programs at any time during the year and most of their programs are flexible so kids can attend when they are able to.

When the community gets involved to support MPAL, they are able to reach all the more kids and teens in Manchester. If you'd like to be part of the programs MPAL offers, here are some ways you can help.

Volunteering

Because MPAL's athletic and enrichment activities are held throughout the entire school year rather than just during a season, it can be a challenge to recruit and retain volunteers. Their programs rely on volunteers to operate, and if any of these dedicated volunteers could not continue their roles, it would be incredibly difficult to replace them. MPAL would love to  recruit and train a pipeline of volunteers on an ongoing basis to serve in their programs. To volunteer, click here.

Donating

You can make a financial contribution to MPAL on Facebook or via PayPal.

MPAL also has an Amazon Wish List for items they need for their programs.
