Members First Credit Union is proud to announce that our CEO Courtney Fifield has successfully completed the Leadership Greater Manchester (LGM) program. This prestigious program conducted by the Greater Manchester Chamber is designed to develop and enhance leadership skills by exposing participants to the various challenges and opportunities within the Manchester community.
Reflecting on his experience, Courtney shared, "It was incredibly meaningful to learn from and get to know so many other great leaders in our community. The insights I gained about the diverse issues and opportunities in Manchester will undoubtedly help me serve our members better. Engaging with fellow leaders has made me optimistic about the future of the greater Manchester area and reinforced the value of community collaboration."
Leadership Greater Manchester offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes an orientation and retreat in August, followed by monthly sessions through June. These sessions cover various topics such as economic development, education, government, health and human services, and the arts, all presented by local leaders and experts. The program aims to foster community engagement and leadership development, providing participants with a deep understanding of the area's needs and strengths.
